NoyEngineering’s spinning technology for the tyre sector is mainly based on the radial flow cooling process which has the following advantages:
|
| ■ |
Better cooling of the yarn |
| ■ |
Higher yarn performances |
| ■ |
Higher efficiency due to the long life time of the spinning pack |
 |
The spin-draw winding process is constantly improved by the experience gained in the production plants and thanks to the research and development of new projects.
The equipment supplied represents the best available standard of NoyEngineering’s own development and of the carefully chosen suppliers.

Direct cabling
For the down-stream process, NoyEngineering can supply direct cabling machines where tyre cord is produced in a single stage. Compared to the traditional ring-twistin, NoyEngineering’s direct cabling has a greater take-up package weight and a higher production speed and shows advantages in terms of:
|
| ■ |
Energy consumption |
| ■ |
Personnel requirements |
| ■ |
Investment costs |
 |
Weaving
The weaving units are supplied by means of air jet weaving machines that allow:
|
| ■ |
Enormous productivity boosts due to the high rate of weft insertions (up to 700 picks/min) |
| ■ |
Reduced maintenance costs |
| ■ |
The advanced creels developed by NoyEngineering allow to achieve such a high weaving speed as they permit high cord package weights and provide a uniform pull-off tension for all the warp yarn packages in the creel |
 |
Dipping
The dipping process makes the cord fabric suitable for the tyres and is similar to the spin-draw winding process by applying a dipping solution, followed by the process steps of stretching, heat-setting, normalizing or relaxing and winding. Dipping line dimensions are very large reaching up to nearly 35 m in height and up to 60 m in length.
